Scripture: Luke 1:68-79, Malachi 3:13-18, Philippians 1:18b-26

Questions/Thoughts: What does Jesus save (or free, or deliver) us from? What is the difference between someone who serves God, and someone who doesn’t? How is Christ working through you?

Prayer:

Come, thou long-expected Jesus,

Born to set thy people free;

From our fears and sins release us, 

Let us find our rest in thee.

Israel’s strength and consolation, 

Hope of all the earth thou art:

Dear desire of ev’ry nation,

Joy of ev’ry longing heart.
