I might argue that your counterpoint for #8 makes your whole list moot. I would own a car soley for the purpose of having an excuse to see Uncle Greg and Aunt Linda. :)
Please don't wait for car trouble to come and visit us! You are welcome anytime! With much love, Uncle Greg & Aunt Linda
We won't wait for car trouble (although a lot of times it just finds us) to come visit :) Glad you were able to comment.
We might need a car just to make the trip to Iowa (don't know much about how buses work in the states).
My curiosity will not let me rest. How on EARTH did a manhole cover get on that car's windshield?
we have no idea! it was right outside our apartment window....happened in the middle of the night/early morning. Steve had to take pictures for the little report he wrote up about it. it was quite heavy, took two people to remove it!
in steve's words: "it was probably just some local idiots."
so there you have it. that's how it happened ;)
