Summer

If you look through my blogging history, you will note that I just don't blog consistently in the summer time.  So, no excuses from me, that is just how it is. I'm sure that your reader will inform you when I am back again.  Anyway, here is a picture taken from the car from earlier this summer.  Hopefully that will hold you over until the next time I blog.  Hopefully within the month?  I'm not making any promises though, so please don't hold your breath.

I did not take this video....but it is close to where the pictures below were taken.

Dangerous and Beautiful, just like me.

Taken on the way to Wadena on Thursday June 17th.  We arrived in Wadena about 10-15 minutes after tornadoes did major damage to the town.

Unlikely Disciple

I read this book recently.

I really liked it.

It helped me to think/debrief about experiencing different cultures...and it helped me to learn a little more about the evangelical church (and the conservative point of view), surprisingly.

I would like to write a longer review, but that might have to wait.
Has anyone else read it?  What did you think?
